DO NOT USE TITLES IN A DOGS NAME FOR SEARCHES

When searching for a hound, if you are not sure of the exact AKC spelling it is best if you search using a partial name. The software looks for an exact match in the total spelling you submit.

An example would be searching for Choptalk Boldcreek Billy B. If you type “Choptalk Bold Creek Billy B” or“Chop Talk Boldcreek Billy B”, it will show no matches. It is best just to search for just “Choptalk" OR “Billy B”


Pedigree Search


Follow these steps to search for Beagle pedigrees or breeding information.


1) From the "Field to search" drop down menu, choose 'Name', 'RegNo.', 'DOB', or 'Color'. Then in the "Search string" text box replace "McBride" with the individual Name or Partial Name, Number, Date or Color for which you are searching and left click the "Search Now" button below. OR...

2) From the "Field to search" drop down menu, choose 'PreTitle'. Then in the "Search string" text box replace "McBride" with AKC NSPC, AKC NLPC, IFC, FC, FTCH, GRHBCH, HBCH, GRLPRCH, LPRCH to search for all dogs with a specific Title. Leave the "Order by" field on 'Name' to sort alphabetically or change to 'Award Year' to display AKC NSPC & AKC NLPC winners pedigree links sorted by year. Then left click the "Search Now" button below. OR...

3) From the "Field to search" drop down menu, choose 'PostTitle'. Then in the "Search string" text box replace "McBride" with Canadian NLPC, Hounds & Hunting HOF, Better Beagling HOF or Better Beagling High Hound Award. Set the "Order by" field to 'Award Year' to display winner's pedigree links sorted by year. Then left click the "Search Now" button below.

Once the report is displayed, left click on any of the Pedigree, Detailed Pedigree, Offspring, Siblings, Pedigree & Siblings, or Descendants links to jump to more detailed information. From there left click on any hounds name to move to that hounds information.

There are presently 86,577 hounds in the database.
