Rob,

Is there anyway I can conference call into the meeting. I won't be able to make the meeting but would like to participate.

Robbie would need to do it through cell phone, there is no land line @ cayuga. Also Cell service is not great, atleast through Verizon.

That's what I was thinking Dan, I knew things were a little spotty. Also, my fear is that we may have 5 people there and 12 conference callers.

Without either solid internet or cell service it is presently impractical.

Hi Rob,
Hope everyone is staying dry today.Had a question about Sept meeting.Initally thought I had a conflict with a judging assignment at Monroe. Now realize I don't. I know Bruce can't attend the meeting and it would be impossible for me to be at Cayuga by 8:00 that evening with work and then the three hour drive. If job gets altered due to weather I could possibly leave early and attend or hoping to get another Blue Ridge member to represent.
Understand that nominations for officers/ directors come from the floor. My question is, can we fill out judges ballot and e-mail for inclusion in calculations? Can we nominate an officer/director this way?
As a possible point for discussion at the meeting. Securing IBGA judges for NEBGF and IBGA championship trials. I haven't ever spoke with anyone who was overly excited about being nominated to judge either. Many judges these days are over burdened with assignments at regular lic trials, and life in general like so many others. Can we make this a little more attractive and provide automatic cost coverage for judges. Give a flat fee to whoever unless they refuse. Some I've spoken with don't judge much because of cost. Getting a meal and fifty dollars typically doesn't come close to even covering traveling expenses to and fro. I do realize many donate their time but for several that's not realistic. Perhaps hooded sweatshirts uniquely designed just for judges of special events. A perpetual list on the IBGA web site acknowledging participation. Something to make these guys /gals stand out. What are your thoughts?

What does the attendance look like for the meeting. It seems as though several clubs may not be represented.
