Please pass the word, especially to those with campers, that conditions are currently very wet at Cayuga Lake B.C.. Over the past month, Danby has been hit with several severe thunderstorms which dumped inches of rain on our running areas. Then along came Irene and we got soaked again. Now we are getting hammered with Tropical Storm Lee which is expected to dump about 6" more rain in our area before it moves on. When I left the club yesterday, our club's driveway had evolved into a stream, and water was standing on our lawn in spots. In short, the soil is fully saturated and can't hold anymore water. In current conditions, a camper and truck would sink in to it's rims in most areas of our lawn. Fortunately, the large parking area across the road from the clubhouse has much better drainage, and will hold many vehicles and several campers (but no electric) should the need arise.

Guys lets try to use some common sense, and point it out to others where needed, to not cause any damage to the club house area. Cayuga is nice enough to host this trial for the Association and we need to do our best to be respectful of their hospitality.
Campers should park in the gravel area across the street from the club house.
